RISE’s mission is to eliminate the barriers that hinder at-risk and low-income students from thriving in school. This vital support ensures students’ health and well-being, allowing them to attend school ready to learn.

- Food & Grocery Support
- Gas & Transportation Assistance
- Sports & Activity Fees
- Utility Bill Assistance

Housing + High School = Success
Housing + High School provides small monthly stipends to high school seniors who are unaccompanied and experiencing homelessness between the ages of 18 and 21. These short-term housing stipends help students secure stable housing while they work toward graduation. To qualify, students must be enrolled full-time and referred to the program by a district employee.
How it Works
RISE follows a simple, three-step approach to deliver help when it’s needed most.
Identifying Students in Need
Our team of counselors and social workers works closely with schools to identify families in crisis, looking for signs such as declining attendance or behavioral changes tied to housing or financial instability.
Providing Immediate Relief
Once a family is identified, we offer one-time assistance of up to $500 per household to address urgent needs, including food, transportation, or activity fees.
Supporting Long-term Sustainability
In addition to providing short-term help, social workers connect families with additional community resources, ensuring students have the support they need to thrive—now and in the future.
If you are a student in need, please reach out to your school counselor for assistance.
