We’re thrilled to share the results of our first annual Hoops 4 Hunger campaign. Last night, the campaign wrapped up with the Golden Fork Faceoff, a high-energy 6-on-6 basketball game between the students and staff of our top two fundraising high schools: Owyhee High and Eagle High. In a nail-biting showdown, Owyhee pulled off a one-point victory, winning 55–54.
But the real win? Together, our community raised over $50,000 to help eliminate unpaid school lunch balances for students in need.
Congratulations to our top fundraising schools:
- High School: Owyhee High School – $2,573
- Middle School: Lowell Scott Middle School – $3,071
- Elementary: Spalding STEM Academy – $1,962

Thanks to everyone who donated, participated, and cheered us on. Because of you, more students can focus on learning, not lunch debt.
We’re proud of what we’ve built — and we’re already looking forward to next year. The countdown to Hoops 4 Hunger 2026 starts now!
